Grey Ant Fall/Winter 07/08 Collection

Grey Ant is another one of my favorite labels right now. Grant Krajecki presented a great collection at New York's Fashion Week with high-waisted pants and mini dresses that are just perfect for the fall. (I can't believe I haven't blogged about this already). This collection shows a different side to Grant. He has moved away from his edgier, frayed looks to a more sleek line coupled with ruffles. I like.

Pick up a Paper

Earlier this week, I received my March issue of Paper Magazine. I do have to say...this is a great issue. Go pick it up! I'm not the strongest advocate of this magazine, but recently, it's had some interesting stuff. The March issue features some of my favorite NY Fashion Week designers - Jovovich-Hawk and Erin Fetherson. (Bonus: Cute pics of Zooey Deschanel included in the Erin Fetherson spread. Seriously, who doesn't love this girl?)

Colours and Colours

The colorful tights at the Trovata NY Fashion Show were awesome. I liked a few pieces of the collection, but the tights were what got me. The white coat paired with the marine-colored tights and t-strap shoes is my favorite. I've been recently searching for a pair of royal blue tights. I found some at American Apparel, but they were stirrups; not sure how comfortable those would be, so I'm still searching.

Zac Posen Fall/Winter 07/08 Collection

I haven't been too enthusiastic about the most recent collections at NY's Fashion Week. Most of them have been pretty blah. More grey, more black, more of the same. However, Zac Posen's collection has got me intrigued. Slim cut lines, voluminous dresses, awesome shoes and at least some use of bold colors. Oh, and stylish celebrities in attendance - Nicole Richie and Rachel Bilson.

Brrr, it's cold in here

I, unfortunately, do not own one, single coat. How this is possible, I don't know. Well, maybe it's because I live in Los Angeles. But, you definitely need something for those few days of 50 degree weather, right?

I've been searching for a coat this entire fall/winter season. Since I'm short and petite, it's been so damn difficult. I've only found 2 that fit well, but for some reason, I wasn't sold - a plaid coat from
Zara (which my friend already owns) and a red and black plaid Marc Jacobs coat from decadestwo. I might go back for the Marc Jacobs one, but I would really prefer a different color.
Well, NY's Fashion Week, showed me so inspiration for next season, so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and hopefully I'll find something that fits well.

Jovovich-Hawk

Not only are these two designers beautiful, but they are also very talented. Milla Jovovich and Carmen Hawk surrounded their Fall/Winter 07/08 collection with a vintage, home-setting, which complemented their designs just perfectly. Check out the collection below.

I can't wait to see their spring collection out in stores. Lots of fun, feminine looks.

You Know Me So Well

Oh Marc Jacobs, how do you know me so well? I would've posted his entire collection because everything was utterly amazing, but I guess I gotta narrow it down somehow. Coats, leather gloves, hats, suits, bags - all TOO PERFECT!
